Life As I Know It

Good Friday-a 3 hour procession, but it was awesome because it was a live passion.  My family here couldn’t believe we don’t do this in the states. I had to explain that Church and State are different and police can’t block the road off for this kind of Parade.  Thinking about it made me kind of sad, but Costa Rica is Catholic ruled and I don’t think that our US government should have a specific religion ruling the country, so I guess it would make sense not having a procession in the states.
